Compute is the core of Client Public Cloud. We deal with wide range of areas: from data center infrastructure management to life cycle management, from capacity scaling to troubleshooting an API. It''s guaranteed that your day will never be bored!
We are currently looking for a Senior Client DBA to join our team to expand our coverage.
Duties included but not limited to.
Design, install, upgrade, administer, monitor, patch, and clone Client databases for cloud components under our coverage
Plan and lead database upgrade operations within our team
Design and manage database security, roles, and profiles
Design and implement disaster recovery plans
Design and implement fast database replication methods
Develop scripts for database task scheduling, monitoring and maintenance
Take ownership on all database related consultations within the team
Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA with Client expertise
RAC implementation and configuration
Familiar with Unix/Linux internals and kernel parameters tuning
Various ways to backup and recovery
Willing to work in a DevOps team
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in an Agile environment
Aptitude to independently learn new technologies
BS/MS in CS or Engineering
