Good Linux expertise, as well as Volume Manager, Oracle RAC, ASM, and networking skills.
Database security, Multitenancy, Clustering (RAC), high availability, disaster recovery.
Implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting experience in Golden Gate replication and performance improvements.
Worked on heterogenous Golden Gate replication.
Database-as-a-Service solutions, understanding of Aurora database.
Experience on handling production oracle databases in Unix environment
Provide support in 24 X 7 environments for critical issues.
Knowledge on 18c, 12c, 11g, 10g database creations and software binaries
installations in Unix environment.
Database upgrade knowledge from 12c to 18c
Extensive experience in handling critical issues and finding Root cause.
Experience in analysis of data table space, TEMP, UNDO table space growth.
Knowledge on performance tuning of database and application queries.
Knowledge on Exports, Imports, Data pump, Rman.
Hands on experience on cloning of databases.
Hands on experience on databases restorations and recoveries.
Hands on experience on CPU patching and upgrades on Exadata and non-Exa servers.
Good knowledge on user account maintenance.
Good experience on AWR report analysis, performance tuning and SQL recommendations.
Knowledge in writing shell scripts and Perl scripts will be added advantage.
Develop, implement, administer and maintain security and integrity of the Application databases.
Advance Database Performance Tuning - Instance, Database, OS Parameters, SQL.
Should be able to perform database reorganization.
Designing strategy towards Capacity Management(Growth) for DB tracks.
Recommending Database Security Policy, Auditing.
Knowledge in Cloud Integration and Aurora database on AWS.
Clear Knowledge of ITIL concepts to work with Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management teams and perform task accordingly.
