Required
Extensive experience in Oracle 11g, 12c database administration.
Experience working in LINUX operating system.
Knowledge about OVS - Oracle Virtual Server (Oracle Virtualization), managing Oracle VMs and Hypervisor
Woprking knowledge about Oracle Forms.
Working knowledge about Oracle Weblogic Server
Working knowledge of SVN , CVS and Git Code Repositories
Ability to work independently and to resolve complex Oracle issues.
Knowledge about data replication mechanism and best practices
Ability to Create and maintain all databases required for development, testing, education and production usage
Ability to understand the existing Oracle , PL/SQL code and reverse engineer the functionaility
Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to data infrastructure.
Extensive ability to write 11g/12c, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Database Triggers.
Ability to Plan and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database.
Extensive ability to Tune Oracle SQL and PL/SQL performance.
Puts standards in place to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance. The DBA will perform reviews on the design and code frequently to ensure the site standards are being adhered to.
Extensive experience in logical database design and data models.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle process.
Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.
Knowledge of data privacy and protection initiatives.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
