Required Skills:
· Oracle database administration, the majority of which should be in a large/complex enterprise environment Required 5 Years
· Oracle Database version 11G and 12C Required 5 Years
· Oracle Multitenant Required 2 Years
· Oracle DataGuard Required 2 Years
· Experience with Oracle database running on Windows (Oracle on Linux is a plus) Required 5 Years
· Strong SQL skills, preferably Oracle with the ability to write complex SQL queries, understanding of views, stored procedures, triggers & optimization Required 5 Years
· Exp with Oracle Performance tuning Required 5 Years
· Must be able to pass the required federal and state background checks covered under the REAL ID Act of 2005 Required Years
· Experience with RMAN Required 5 Years
· Experience with Oracle Weblogic (11G) or above with SSO is a plus Highly desired
Job Description:
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for administrating Oracle data analysis and database management in a team environment.
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for administrating Oracle databases. This position will be responsible to:
Experience working in secure enterprise database environments
Experience with RMAN
Experience performing a full restore to an Oracle database from tape
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle process
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently, as well as in collaboration with a team
Ability to take initiative and work without supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills
o Communicate accurate and useful status updates
o Manage and report time spent on all work activities
o Ability to write and maintain technical documentation and procedures
o Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations
