Position Description:
Sofbang is looking for a motivated self-starter who wants to grow. The position is a technical DevOps role that will be accountable for the end-to-end cloud environment experience. It includes setup/configure, deploy/lift-shift, manage and maintain the Oracle cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in DevOps and SRE methodologies and have had success leading technical and discussions and deployments.
Main Responsibilities:
Experience in Oracle Middleware environments (SOA, WebLogic, MFT, ODI, etc is required.
Lead the CI/CD Delivery pipeline and lifecycle with Engineering and QA.
Web Servers and Load Balancing (OHS, Apache & BigIP
DevOps Automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Ansible would be preferred.
Analyze system performance and manage system resources.
Experience with Python, Salt Stack/Ansible, REST Concepts, and infrastructure automation tools such is preferred.
Setting up High availability environment for Oracle Fusion Middleware
Skills Required:
Experience in setting up WebLogic server and middleware environments Oracle SOA Suite.
Good understanding of UNIX, Solaris and Windows Systems.
Strong understanding of cloud concepts and platforms.
Experience with designing, implementing, and supporting small/large-scale IT environments including compute, storage, networking, Database, Middleware and security technologies
Able to create and maintain Operational Procedure documents for Oracle Middleware operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, in Computer Science, MIS or another technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in cloud technical support, field operations.
2+ years of hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure and/or Oracle environment.
Strong team collaboration while managing business processes and workflows, standardizing documentation, and improving project reporting.
