Job Summary :

We are looking for someone that can conceptualize, design , construct , test , and implement portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of current workstation software development life cycle methodology. The right candidate for this job participates on project teams in the implementation of developed software products.
In this position you will interact with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context and organizational strategic direction.



Responsibilities:

Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
Collect, identify, define , and organize detailed user and information technology requirements into deliverable end products.
Assist in the evaluation, testing and recommendation of hardware, software, and peripheral products based on customer need.
Define scope, plans and deliverables for assigned projects.
Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer.
Prepare appropriate installation, end user and system documentation.
Establish and maintain security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents.
Design and implement data migration strategies.
Design, develop, and implement operational support standards and procedures utilizing change management, performance management, and security management.
Analyze and recommend changes and improvements to existing standards.
Keep abreast of emerging software technologies, tools and industry trends.
Interact with customers to resolve problems and respond to customer needs



Requirements:

Possess a SECRET clearance or have the ability to get one.
Must have at least an interim SECRET to begin work on the contract
Must be able to obtain a Security+ Certification and be enrolled in CompTIA’s Continuing Education program before start date
Completed Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field four years of additional general experience may be substituted for a Bachelor''s Degree
Three years of technical experience administering Windows systems in an Enterprise environment.
Experience with MAC OS, Office 2003, XML (Extensive Markup Language), Java, J2EE, JSP, EJB, MQ series, SOAP, Web Logic
Ability to isolate the cause/effect and prioritize performance problems
Knowledge of application packaging and customization
Experience with disk imaging utilities
Knowledge of visual Basic (VB), Autoit and scripting skills
Knowledge of Enterprise Management Software
Knowledge of database structure/design (SQL, Oracle)
Knowledge of ISO/ITIL processes and documentation standards is desired
Must also have a secondary certification relevant to computing environment, i.e., Microsoft Certification
Must sign privileged level access agreement
Fundamentally sound in networking concepts and protocols (DNS, DHCP, Email, VPN, Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, UDP, ICMP, NetBIOS)
Technical documentation skills and the ability to create written reports such as solution recommendations and providing background information on technical issues .
