Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.

Job Summary :

The right candidate should be someone who accomplishes business objectives by identifying and solving customer information and processing problems. Your job will be to identify project requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing operations; determining project scope; documenting results; preparing customer contracts. Part of this job is to maintain the systems by researching and resolving problems; also maintain system integrity & security. You will be maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and reporting by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.




Essential Job Functions :

Upgrade, perform patch management, and service restoration as needed.
Provide day-to-day System management and technical support in a production operations environment.
Provide support for server related incidents and requests.
Provide O&M support for movement of systems to other platforms, data centers, and clouds.
Provide analysis of the root cause of any problem issues, resolution of any/all hardware/software application problems and escalation of any irresolvable issues to the vendor as necessary.


Requirements :

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience .
10 years progressive experience in IT systems administration or related areas .
ITIL v3 Foundations .
Knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems .
Knowledge of TCP/IP troubleshooting .
Working knowledge of Internet protocols, e.g., DNS, LDAP, Telnet, SMTP, SNMP .
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory .
SECRET clearance .
