Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 5 to 7 years of related experience work experience in project management/supply chain operations.
Manufacturing operations experience required

Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
MPS - Master Production Schedule

Experience with manufacturing and supply chain processes.
Experience in the aerospace industry and familiarity with AS9100 a plus.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred.

Summary:

Through methods of continuous improvement, data analysis and strategic thinking, the Operations Planner enables company to continually onboard, produce and realize motion solutions developed by our customers and engineering teams. This role is highly cross-functional and requires partnership with teams spanning across the organization. This role will have continuous exposure to the new product introduction process and will be critical to the success of manufacturing operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of planning and schedule management in support of program execution.
Lead analyses of factory readiness assessments through new program proposals to standard production.
Own company MRP with respect to data management and architecture for production planning and scheduling, purchasing ensuring data is stored, arranged and integrated in ways that produce accuracy of metrics which lead to informed business decisions.
Create and manage the production plan, addressing supply chain disruptions with core teams responsible for assessing and mitigating risks to the business.
Provide capacity planning and demand fulfillment.
Lead process re-engineering efforts as well as streamline NPI process, metrics, tools, systems and reports globally.
Partners with logistics and production organization, monitoring material issues, inventory levels and work flow as product moves through the its lifecycle and on to the final customer.
Monitors and critically analyzes productivity and delivery metrics, partnering with the organization to realize opportunities for efficiency gains and quality improvements, leading to an overall increase in customer satisfaction.
Acts with agility to unforeseen circumstances, using knowledge of company’s resources to assemble teams who will expertly adapt to challenges and continue to produce to customer demand.
Releases work orders for production material, floor stock items and all purchases to support the business unit.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize a considerable amount of data. Excited about data, analytics, and curiosity about the numbers that drive results
Capable of utilizing MRP software in managing the planning and scheduling process.
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of management.
Ability to work on multiple projects with limited direction.
Must have knowledge of tools and strategies associated with lean manufacturing.





Certificates and Licenses:

APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) a plus.





Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability:

Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.



Computer Skills:

Must be computer knowledgeable in Windows XP, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
