Job Summary:
The client is seeking an Operations Analyst responsible for providing forecasts, labor optimization models, and KPI reporting that support the Assistant Director of the Processing division. As an individual contributor you will be integral in building and providing analytical solutions and proactive recommendations to senior management. This person will also act as a partner to multiple groups, and support ad hoc requests as they arise.
This position is for a contract role with potential for a full-time position pending budget availability.

Job Responsibilities:
Day to day operations reporting
Identify root causes of data issues and develop solutions
Retrieve and analyze data using Oracle, SQL, Excel, SSRS, Cognos, and
other data management systems
Use statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, or
other methods to analyze information and develop practical solutions
to business problems
Build dashboards and custom reports to track key metrics, empower
other team members with data, and investigate business questions
Play an active role in strategic & operational planning discussions
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer
Science,Mathematics, or related Operations/Supply Chain field
3+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst,
or statistical analysis role
1+ years of experience working directly in a manufacturing, production,
or supply chain role
Mastery of Excel & SQL
Proven experience in developing forecasts and labor optimization models
Proven analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to use data
and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and
complete root cause analyses
Knowledge of fundamental statistical concepts for data analysis
