OCM Lead with State Project Experience
Sacramento, CA
Duration: 9+ months

Description:
The successful candidate for this position must have the following specific skills and experiences to assure project success:
a. Three (3) years experience in a primary OCM role on at least one IT
project of similar size and complexity that includes multiple integrated business functions, multiple external system interfaces, and processes at least two (2) million transactions annually.
b. Two (2) year of experience in a primary OCM role for at least one (1)
CA state project

Desirable Skills and Experience
a. Experience in writing and implementing OCMPs for IT Projects in
organizations of similar scope and complexity.
b. Experience in developing to-be business process models for a State IT
project.
c. Experience in engaging stakeholders in the change management process
d. Experience in planning and implementing change management
communications
e. Experience in planning and implementing training within the change
management context.
f. Experience in OCM activities related to migrating users from the as
is to the to be business processes and practices and the associated training.
g. Extensive understanding of how organizations and people go through a
change and the organizational change process.
h. Experience and knowledge of change management principles,
methodologies and tools.
i. Experience with medium-scale organizational change efforts.
j. Prosci Change Management Certification, or similar designation
k. Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the
project lifecycle
l. Experience working with any of the stakeholders listed in a
preceding section of this document.
m. Knowledge of interactions between state governments in the joint
operation of an automated systems.
