OCM/Change Lead Duration: 12+ months Location: Alpharetta, GA  Summary: The main function of a communications specialist is to coordinates the internal communications that occurs within an organization. A typical communications specialist is responsible for ensuring the communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization''s strategic vision. Job Responsibilities: Keeps workers engaged in company initiatives. Publishes videos and photography on company website and blogs. Ensures organizational consistency in all aspects of communication including development, organizing and education. Supports ideas with research and experience. Recommends what information should be presented to employees, and times the release of information to coordinate with company events or initiatives. Measures and presents results of communication efforts. Works with appropriate departments and management to publish timely company information, such as memos and company directives. Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement. Respond to requests for information from the media or designate an appropriate spokesperson or information source.Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Strong knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Strong ability to develop marketing and pricing strategy. Strong knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods. Education/Experience: A College degree and/or relevant proven work experience in Change Management, Communications and Training. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Good time management, organization and project management skills required with (5+ years) experience in organizational change management. Highly flexible and adaptable across rapidly changing environments. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint Familiarity with project lifecycle phases (Agile vs. Waterfall) Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
