1) Why is this open?
There are two different data streams running on ONE instance of OBIEE - “Finance” which is like a “general Ledger” stuff. The other steam is “Business,” which is more indicative data. Credit scores, maturity dates, costs, etc. that marry up to balance info to get a full view.
WF Landscape is changing and they are splitting these out into two instances of OBIEE because it makes more sense to have them separate
There will still be some reporting out of current OBIEE instance (Finance 2nd will be more business operational reporting.

2) Who are the customers for the information to be stored in the data warehouse?
- Everybody in the bank, highly visible.

3) If this is an existing BI implementation, is it a phased approach? If so, in what phase is the organization at the moment, and what will be the first big deliverable?
This is a phased approach. They are currently assessing those phases. Timelines are being shifted. The first big deliverable will having the 2nd instance of OBIEE developed. Which will actually split into two phases – one in May and the 2nd in November.

4 List the essential skills/technologies. For each essential skill/technology, comment briefly on why it is important…how it will be used in the project. What are some things you would expect a candidate to know how to do with each skill/technology?

5 What are the overall and day-to-day responsibilities? Which phases of the life cycle will they be involved in?
-They will be doing the report writing
-They will be meeting with and gathering requirements from the users (communication is big)

6 Environment
Very matrixed environment, change, fast paced.
Team – 2 people on data provisioning strategy. 1 is in MSP at 600 4th street, 1 is remote.
Current project team will interface with the 2 resources listed above. 4-6 people will be supporting efforts transitioned. Less than 10 people. Small.

Position is for an experienced OBIEE developer with a desire to work on a complex, fast-paced enterprise initiative.
Candidate must be able to engage across business and technical groups to perform data analysis, requirements gathering, and operational reporting development.
Required skills/experience: • Expertise in the areas of OBIEE, BI Analytics, Enterprise Reporting and Data Warehousing, areas with a thorough understanding of Data Modeling and Oracle Applications Architecture • Expertise establishing, developing, deploying and supporting OBIEE Dashboards • Data analysis and design for ad hoc as well as standard operational/production trending, dashboards and management level reporting utilizing OBIEE • Excellent communication skills (including facilitation and documentation) • Requirements facilitation and capture • Data flow documentation and mapping • Data sourcing and data lineage • Data management and data warehousing concepts • Financial Institution industry and system knowledge • Knowledge transfer and training Desired skills/experience: • Knowledge of general ledger, securities and risk systems • OFSAA, FSDF model knowledge/experience • Other BI tools such as Tableau • BCBS 239 knowledge/experience
