Job Description:
The primary role is to work with Reporting Users in the business to deliver solutions that meet their information needs. This position requires a combination of strong functional knowledge of the business and good technical understanding of the data warehouse. The Data Analyst acts as a liaison between the business and technical areas, requiring effective communication skills to diverse audiences.
Initial mentorship/guidance will be provided but the role is expected to pick up from those and then be independent with the responsibilities and duties.
Specific Duties:
Gather requirements in accordance with team standards
Conduct analysis for business process, data and systems
Create or recommend solutions that efficiently leverage the data warehousing tools & data
Perform reporting and analysis – provide tools and knowledge to end-users for obtaining and analyzing required information (tools include Oracle Business Intelligence and Power BI/Tableau) Lead functional testing, quality assurance testing and end-user validation testing
Perform troubleshooting, problem diagnosis and resolution on reporting system issues
Develop and lead user training
Develop and maintains Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) subject areas including working on the RPD(Datamodel)
Manage user access to data warehouse reporting tools
Collaborate with a cross-divisional team
Enforce & help build development & process standards
Perform administration duties of the OBIEE tool
Anticipate, plan & execute tasks to ensure successful upgrades of the OBIEE application
