Position: OBIEE Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 months+
Role and Responsibilities:
OBIEE Developer, Charlotte
5+ years IT experience, including 2+ years in the financial services industry. Project experience with treasury, general ledger domains
Demonstrated ability to design and develop effective technical solutions for data warehousing applications, including OBIEE reports and user dashboards
Proficiency in data warehousing techniques for data cleansing, slowly changing dimensions, surrogate key assignment, indexes, and change data capture
Ability to design relational data models and data warehouse star\snow flake schema, and dimensional models
Excellent understanding of database concepts, and expertise in use of SQL, PL/SQL
Prior experience developing in Oracle 11g environment, including hands-on work in database performance tuning/partitioning and writing UNIX / PERL scripts
Ability to write clear and accurate technical documentation, including development of data dictionary, data flow diagrams, and plans for data transformation and load into a warehouse environment
Ability to manage timelines while working on deliverables for multiple projects and/or phases
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels
Understanding of all phases of an application development life cycle and development methodologies
