Job Description :
Project Manager will support National Network Engineering within the Technical Product & Xperience (TPX) organization. Supports all products, services and related projects. Incumbent will provide project management support for technical implementations related to network infrastructure from engineering design through operational hand-off.
Incumbent will develop and evaluate project plans. Initiate, facilitate and monitor specific departmental and cross-organizational project progress and performance to assure quality. Resolve issues affecting project scope, financials, quality, risk and schedule. Ensure problems and issues are escalated accordingly. Ensure milestone dates are met while maintaining project status reports and metrics. Create and manage contingency plans for projects in jeopardy. Track relevant purchase orders and equipment ordering/delivery status while evaluating/ impacting change request against communicated timelines. Ensure project activities adhere to existing organizational processes, as well as working with project team personnel to ensure project adheres to schedule.
Determine standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation. Incumbent will be responsible for managing multiple small to medium scale projects.

Job Specifications
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in project management and a minimum of 3-5 years overall industry experience in a technical or specialized area.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management software and processes
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office suite and MS Project
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills are a must
Understanding of commonly used lower layer technologies (Ethernet, 10G, 40G, 100G)
Understanding of network infrastructure and topologies
Experience with voice over IP technology a plus
PMI/PMP Certification a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, Management or related field
