TECHNICAL SKILLS

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

In depth experience in Cisco VoIP technologies: Designing, specifying, procuring, configuring, deploying and supporting enterprise wide VoIP solutions

Experience in integrating VoIP platform with other solutions including MS Office, Call Holding, Call Forwarding, Call Recording solutions

Experience in Avaya Telephony technologies: Designing, specifying, procuring, configuring, deploying and supporting Avaya solutions including ACD, VDN

In depth experience (Level 3 and above) in troubleshooting enterprise wide VoIP solutions

Experience in Network Routing, Switching in LAN, WAN and WiFi

Bachelor Degree MIS CIS or Relevant Science

Works as a team member to provide Level 2 or 3 support primarily focusing on VoIP technologies,/solutions, makes recommendations and supports projects as part of a team, and may participate in the development and/or research of advanced technologies.

The IT Network Engineer participates in ongoing VoIP (Cisco) and Telephony (Avaya) infrastructure support,

analysis of VoIP and Telephony network use/design, and assists in future planning of the infrastructure. Works under general supervision and direction following documented processes and procedures. Assignments are received in the form of results expected; within operating policies and procedures. Incumbent has the discretion to select from alternative approaches; decisions may involve changes to normal work processes. Bachelor degree in an applicable information technology discipline, Associate Degree in information technology and 6+ years’ experience in given discipline or technology.
