Position : Network architect
Duration of engagement: 24 months
Location: Albany, NY
Consultant will serve as a high-level network engineer and is responsible for understanding the needs of NYS Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) customers and providing technical solutions while conforming to ITS''s policies and standards. Consultant performs advanced configuration on agency network and security appliances including Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint and Avaya.

Senior 60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work without assistance and can provide leadership for others; may have advanced education
1. Bachelor''s Degree
2. 72 Months experience with support of Juniper/Netscreen and Cisco ASA Firewalls
3. 72 Months experience with support of Cisco routing and switching
4. 60 Months experience with support of LAN / WAN technologies
5. 60 Months experience with support of routing protocols
6. 60 Months experience with support of VOIP technologies
7. 36 Months experience with support of Checkpoint Firewalls
8. 60 Months experience using syslog and wireshark for troubleshooting network issues
9. 60 Months experience using Protocol analysis for troubleshooting network issues
10. 60 Months experience with support of Cisco Wireless solutions
