Role Description:
The position provides a single point of contact for both Clients (External/Internal CDK groups on various DS projects Project Specialist owns all aspects of the network project implementation management from the time it is assigned to install, acceptance and final billing stage. This position is responsible for interfacing with multiple internal and external groups to ensure that all stakeholders of the network install are kept appraised of the status and that project dependencies (hardware, facilities, transport, software, resources, etc are documented, coordinated, and aligned for success. Organize and manage multiple projects adhering to project budgets, schedules, and resource requirements. Establish and maintain an effective level of communication with team members. Develop and define the statement of work (SOW) requirements by interfacing with the customers, vendors, and various CDK business units. Analyze and define network integration project management processes. Develop and manage multiple project plans that effectively meet the time/schedule, budget and resource requirements/constraints. Act as primary CDK contact with ISP (Internet Service Provider) vendors on assigned professional service engagements. Manage CDK, customer and vendor resources and track project deliverables. Develop and communicate project status reports, which include open issues, budget, resource and schedule details. Assist in developing Business Partner relationships and deployment processes. Assist with client presentations and discussions on an as needed basis. Maintain a thorough understanding of CDK products, processes, and customer needs.
