Primary Skill Set: Network Security Expert (Palo Alto firewall)

Technical skill sets
Expert knowledge working on Palo Alto firewall and Panorama MGMT appliance.
Expert level knowledge on Firewalls like Palo alto, Cisco ASA and Juniper SSG/SRX
Expert level knowledge on configuring firewall rules, NAT, route on cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls and Juniper SSG.
Expert level knowledge on configuring IPSEC and SSL VPN’s in Palo Alto, Cisco ASA and Juniper SSG firewalls.
Expert in configuring URL filtering, file blocking and security profiles in Palo Alto firewalls.
Expert on User identification agent deployment and configuring group based access rules.
Good understanding of policy based forwarding, application override and decryption policies.
Should have capability to build the Palo Alto and Cisco firewall from the scratch to the required network settings in the customer environment.
Technical Certificates from Palo Alto and Cisco is added advantage.
Expert level knowledge on authentication methods like radius & TACACS.
Good Knowledge of reverse proxy technologies and load balancing is desired.
Good understanding on routing protocols, switching, VLAN and static routing
Good understanding of antivirus technologies is required, knowledge on McAfee EPO would be an advantage
Good understanding and knowledge on virus break out controlling mechanisms.
Fair knowledge on Infosec would be added advantage.
Working experience on any SIEM tools would be an added advantage
Knowledge of Microsoft CA certificate would be an added advantage
Should have capability to gather customer39;s technical requirements and map those to a technical solution for implementation.

Process requirements:
Adheres to standard operating procedures / work instructions
Should be comfortable working in 24*7 environments
Modify/update/design standard operating procedures / work instructions for the team
Follow the escalation process
Follow the shift hand-over process
Update the knowledge base
Coaching analysts for correct routing of tickets, capturing critical information
Technically upgrade across versions of environment when required
Managing independent shifts
Complies to regulatory requirements
Participate in CoE meetings - sharing and acquiring knowledge
Participate in Sev1/ Bridge calls and handle the call technically towards solution.
