Network Security Engineer
a. U.S. Citizen, Green Card
b. Yearly ongoing contract with possibility to go on full-time
c. $45.00 - $50.00 per Hour 90K-120K depending on experience level

Responsibilities:
Provide support for firewalls, WAN/LAN, VPN appliances, vulnerability assessment tools, event and log analysis,
security change tracking and other network security systems and devices
Use security tools to audit infrastructure, detect issues and coordinate remediation of any issues
Follow, develop, and improve network and security configuration procedures and documentation
Review request for increased network access and provide risk-analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience
Experience with network and routing protocols, TCP/IP, VLANs, ACLs, QoS, MPLS, EIGRP, BGP
Experience with network monitoring tools, Bluecoat Proxy and Firewalls (CheckPoint, ASA)
Ability to operate and manage within a change control system
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Network/Security Certified (CISSP, CCNA CCIE) a plus
