Looking for Security Architect for one of our client in Long Island City, NY.
Qualifications:
Must take drug and criminal background check before starting
7+ years of experience with a background including (but not limited to): Network Security, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Protocols, Networking Standards, Supervision, Conceptual Skills, Communication skills and presentations, Decision Making, Informing Others, Functional and Technical Skills, Dependability, Information Security Policies
Ability to consult and design with Infrastructure and Platform Engineering Teams on how to make use of Azure Security Stacks, such as: Azure Key Vault, Identity and Access Management,
Ability to create designs which covers security protection (network and host stack), recovery (DDoS and burst traffic mitigation) and insight and analytics
Subject matter expertise across all security infrastructure primary elements, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxies, load balancers, endpoint security, mobile device management, Software Defined WAN, Secure Cloud Interconnect
Experience on security products from Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, f5, Symantec/Blue Coat, VMware, McAfee, Sentinel One, Proof Point, Dark Trace, and Software Define Data Center components including micro-segmentation through VMWare NSX, as well as Nutanix Acropolis hypervisor
Knowledge of public cloud provider security capabilities and best practice designs, primarily Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, as well as SaaS-based security offerings for email, proxy, CASB services
Understanding security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and; preparing preventive and reactive measures; providing technical support; completing documentation
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
