Job Description :
Position: Network / Firewall Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: Full Time
Key Skills:
Technical/Functional Skills
Relevant experience in infrastructure security on premise and in cloud platform
Strong understanding of network and architecture, such as TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, LAN/WAN;
Strong understanding of network security technologies, such as firewall, NAT, SSL, proxy, DDoS, VPN;
Broad understanding of UTM technology, such as Web Filtering, IPS, Anti-virus;
Experience with Virtual Technology, such as VMWare;
Experience with application architecture (relationship between user, application, database)
Experience with IaaS Cloud Services
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
Experience with Linux Administration or Windows Administration
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
Knowledge of application protocols
Industry certifications in cloud/os/network/security are a plus
Work with THD Engineers on designing and configuring new Firewall and Network configurations
Generic Skills :
Think out of the box to provide suggestions
Be creative in analyzing business requirements while preparing test cases
Nice to have some knowledge in Retail Security domain
Be extremely proactive and independent
Be a value addition to the team to collaborate and achieve success by completing project goals
