- Focus on IPDR and Sanvine pieces
- Phone interview first (15 to 30 minutes first)
- OOT = skype or webex

DPI qualification point – focal point of someone with DPI, NetFlow, IPDR, etc. (Sanvine & Procera = market shareholders, one company) Deep Packet Inspection (DPI)
Layer 2/3/4/7 – BGP, ISIS, and OSPF they relate (packet traverse the network)
DPI = ability to understand (multiple reason) to see what our customers are doing, are they watching Netflix how much traffic is video piracy, etc.
See customer trends to push to product and marketing. Security enforcement along the way to monitor activity. DPI is just part of the tech – more network analytics.

Th Required Qualifications and Skills
Service Provider level knowledge of the networking concepts and Layer 3 routing such as BGP, MPLS, OSPF and IS-IS
Working knowledge of multicast, unicast video, voice (SIP), and various Internet protocols (HTTP/SSL/TLS)
Strong background with 2 or more technology topics such as: DPI, Netflow, IPDR or DOCSIS
Experience with 2 or more tools sets such as: Sandvine, Procera, Deepfield, Wisespot, or Arbor
Familiarity with network taps from sources like Gigamon or Interface Master
Passionate about automation, performance, reliability, visibility, use of the best tools possible
Extensive experience in Unix/Linux environments
Exceptional documentation skills
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
Experience with strategic architecture and roadmap development
Familiarity with architectures in NFV and SDN environments
Involvement with video piracy
General to strong level knowledge of DOCSIS architectures
Regularly attend industry conferences related to network analytics, traffic inspection and policy enforcement
Able to create and understand multiple scripting languages (bash, Python, Ansible, Jinja)
Education and Experience • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, or Science field plus 5 – 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
