About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer with strong implementation background to help architect, implement, support, and own the network infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate across researchers, developers, infrastructure and trading operations teams. We offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits. Essential Functions
This role requires strong experience in network architecture and network implementation, with strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver in the following key areas:
Collaborate with various teams in architecture of new network initiatives.
Work with team members to implement and support all network aspects at the firm.
Assist in automating various aspects of the network and systems infrastructure to improve operational efficiency
Required Skills and Experience
Deep expertise in BGP, OSFP, PIM, IGMP, and multicast
Deep expertise in field deployment and configuration of network devices, must be hands-on
Deep expertise in zero touch deployment, automation, and monitoring of network devices
Deep expertise in DMVPN configuration as well as VPC configuration
Knowledge of AWS networking
Knowledge of RSA SecurID Management Console
Point to point wave circuits, dark fiber circuits, and DIA
Comfortable in working with remote colocation resources
Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, and F5 network devices
Cisco Call Manager
Understanding of Solarflare and OpenOnload
Understanding of Exablaze NICs
Understanding of Linux - being able to configure, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain network connectivity at the OS level
Knowledge of pfSense and Quagga
Ability to script in bash and python/perl
