Job Description :
Candidate will primarily be responsible for support WAN and Edge routing and working with multiple providers to support, troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing connections as well as perform these same duties on new installs during manage services migrations.
Candidate will secondarily support, troubleshoot and resolve issues on very large campus network and work with multiple agencies to resolve issues reported with Service Now. Assists in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems (including wireless) of moderate complexity.
Participates in network planning, network architecture design and engineering. Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations.
Evaluates new products, performs network problem resolution and assists in the development and documentation of technical standards and interface applications. Monitors protocol compatibility, performs system tuning and makes recommendations for improvement.
Candidate must be able to work OT when required.
Candidate will sit onsite for the State in Montgomery with minimal travel to the customer
Position is expected to convert from contract to hire at or prior to the allotted 2080 hours however this is subject to change
Candidate will support 180 agencies with about 2 point of contact per agency -Candidate should possess an optimal level of customer service skills
