Job Description
The Wireless Engineering Team is seeking an experienced Cellular
& Wireless Engineering professional. We require a minimum of 5 years of experience actively working with Cellular Frequency, RF Propagation and must possess in-depth knowledge of Cellular Networks. Experience with Wireless Networks (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) with detailed knowledge of wide coverage and density deployments is also a requirement.
Strong Cellular background is a must for this position. Familiarity with wireless communication systems; especially cellular frequency re-use planning, identification and mitigation of interference, RF propagation analysis, and data network offered load analysis.
Experience with one or more of the following is required: Radio Access Network, Core Network, air interface protocols, and end to end data management
Experience with security and authentication process for cellular and wireless protocols is also required. Successful candidates will work as part of a larger system engineering team, providing subject matter expertise in the areas, while also performing systems engineering functions such as requirements development, product evaluation, designing and installing laboratory environments for test and evaluation of cellular and wireless equipment.
Candidate will also have experience in design, implementation and troubleshooting (L3/L4) enterprise level wireless networks.
Prefer to have experience with Aruba Mobility Manager 10k, 7200 series WLC’s, 300 series AP’s, 200 series AP’s, BLE, Meridian, anchor WLC’s, RAP’s and iAP’s. Candidate should also be well versed with wireless surveys (Ekahau experience is a plus
Strong documentation skills as all project work is based off solid documentation, policies and procedures.
Candidate should be comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment under minimal guidance.
Travel is a must for this position, the candidate must have valid passport and be able to travel globally when needed.
Assemble and perform advanced, custom configurations in a test, proof-of-concept and production environments .
Knowledgeable in the general operation and application of means, methods and standards related to installation and troubleshooting wireless networks at both the network edge and wireless client; these general operating and standards applications include the 802.11 standards and RF propagation theory, as they relate to design, installation and operation.
Knowledgeable and skilled in working with commercial/enterprise network equipment, including edge and core switching equipment.
Test and Resolve any technical issues related to Cellular & WLAN and upstream network. Knowledge of and experience with the TCP/IP networking protocols, including IP addressing schemes, subnet configuration, and practical protocol operation.
Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service in a manner appropriate for an enterprise corporation.

Possibility of extension.
This position is a 50/50 Cellular / Wireless Networks position. Strong possibility of this position turning full-time if the candidate excels at their position.
