Job Title: Network Engineer
Job Description: Network Engineer - 6-10 years’ experience
-Ability to work with Mid-sized client on the following tasks: Exchange 2016 Upgrade – Verify the test plan and upgrade. Outline approach and execute. Confirm and address any outstanding rollback issues – Rationalize and validate all outstanding issues related to the O365 pilot have been resolved Calendar Sync – Troubleshoot and remediate Calendar Sync Issues – Increase ability to show multiple calendars or validate maximum limit on this function Archiving – Verify performance issues, outline remediation plan and execute. Performance Issues – General feedback and tickets outlined suggest performance issues Document all troubleshooting performed and results. Address any other troubleshooting needs and issues as they arise, based on Owner direction Work with Owner on Exchange migration planning and execution Work with Owner on ADFS upgrade planning and execution Provide a report out of results that includes:
- Summary of troubleshooting
- Observations of Owner in the environment that should be addressed
- Best practices on how best to optimize and maintain Exchange, Calendar and associated workplace tools
Additional Skills
Experience with Exchange - all versions.
Experience with O365
Experience with Shared Calendars, Archiving, performance tuning, trouble shooting Microsoft Exchange.
Familiarity with Exchange hosted in AWS.
Duration:
3 month contract with possibility of an extension.
