Description:
NMS Design Experience (Must)
SME knowledge on configuring NMS systems to meet network service monitoring like – monitoring steelheads ,MPLS, routing, VPN monitoring using in house tools like CA service assurance tools – NFA, spectrum CAPM , ADA Splunk , SolarWinds
Working on event management , integration with 3rd part tools
Networking Experience : CCNP
Installation and configuration knowledge of Cisco Devices -
Routers-Juniper MX Routers, Cisco 7200, 2600, 1700 series; Layer-3 Switches-3550. 6509 6800 & 4507, Layer-2 Switches- 2950, 1900.
Supporting Chevron Global core for 100% uptime and any changes using Junos space / Cli
Configuration of VLANS, STP, VTP in Cisco Switches
deploying VSS for Cisco 65K and VPC for Cisco Nexus 7K
Configuring routing protocol such as RIP, RIPv2, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF
deploying and operating complex DMVPN with High availability , scalability and security.
Experience in designing deploying and operating complex enterprise Networks.
Maintain Collapsed Core Network Design for Chevron Remote sites. Using BGP on the WAN and EIGRP on the LAN Segment.
Implement VRF lite in Chevron Core for Segmentation of traffic for Multiple Customer on the Extranet Third party Segment using OSPF and controlling the extranet traffic using Cisco ASA firewall.
Maintain data center Network using Cisco Nexus Infrastructure.
Technical Consultant responsible to building configuration, implementation plan and do implementations in production environment. Handling New Implementation with compliance to Change Management
Supporting LAN WAN & Security infrastructure for Chevron North America & India
Handling the Role of Change & Incident Manager.
Coordinating with Vendor for Existing & New Implementation
Handling Vendor Management.
Creating change order for the new quote/request and follow approval cycle for change approval through Remedy.
Prepare implementation plan/steps for the Change. This includes the steps which will be followed during change implementation phase and fall back plan.
Update the Change orders with proper update and closure comments after implementation
Day–to–Day activities involve Monitoring the Network, maintaining 99% uptime of Leased Line
Monitoring the Network with monitoring tools like Solarwinds, CA Spectrum and Syslog Server.
Monitoring the bandwidth with Solarwinds., NetQOS, NetVoyant.
Configuration of Router’s interface for new location, Implementation of routing policy. Implementations of rate-limit using access-list.
Configuration of Switch Interface for new lease line circuits and configuration of VLAN.
Maintaining access policy ( inbound & Outbound ) for clients on firewall, creating VPN tunnels for Site to Site VPN.
