Provides full-performance technical support and troubleshooting of networks and networked environments.
Leads the maintenance and monitoring of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Virtual Private Networks (VPN Ensures the perpetual integrity and security of all proprietary data, client information, and intellectual property.
Leads the performance of complex preventative, proactive and reactive maintenance in order to meet service restoration and network availability objectives, using network analysis and monitoring tools.
Leads and coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects, using established project management methodologies for the purpose of controlling costs and ensuring adherence to project plan.
Optimizes engineering to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO
Provides full-performance technical support and troubleshooting of networks and networked environments, including on-call technical support.
Prepares and deploys complex implementation packages per Boeing standards.
Coordinates the installation with impacted customers and provides feedback to the design process based on implementation experience.
Leads the identification, analysis and documentation of requirements for both classified and unclassified network transport technologies and services (e.g., voice, video, data, wireless, cable, wire) based on customer goals, objectives, cost and security constraints, to provide input into the design process.
Leads and organizes the creation and documentation of designs that conform to architectural and security standards, to meet customer requirements, using industry best practices and tools.
Researches, develops, documents and deploys emerging technologies and techniques, determining proper integration into existing systems to meet customer needs, as directed.
Additional Job Details:
1) Subject matter expert knowledge of routing (OSPF, eBGP), switching, firewalling, remote access VPNs, and site to site VPNs
2) Experience with Cisco Nexus switches (all models), Cisco Integrated Services Router (ISR) and Aggregate Services Routers (ASR), Cisco ASAs, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Wireless Controllers and Access Points, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and F5 Big-IP (LTM)
3) Ability to design and implement complex network solutions 4) Nice to have Cisco voice (unity and contact center) and SIP experience
