Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related IT field, and/or 5-7 years of experience working within a diverse IT infrastructure.
Preferred- a minimum of 2 years of prior management experience.
Industry certifications (e.g. CCNA / CCNP) related to this position a plus.
Working knowledge of Cisco ACI and SDN a plus
Thorough understanding of DNS, DHCP, NTP, FTP, SMTP, VTP, Cisco Access Lists, Policy Based Routing and routing protocols
Responsible for 24x7 support of all network infrastructure and hardware
Comfortable documenting and explaining network topologies
Intermediate to expert with install, configure, troubleshoot, and support of LAN, WAN, and Wireless networks
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Solid understanding and experience with leading teams of network engineers through project lifecycles.
Comprehensive understanding of engineering architecture and design concepts required to develop, test, and implement systems.
Intermediate to expert understanding of firewall configuration and maintenance
Experience maintaining an enterprise-level infrastructure, including fiber optic and wireless
Understands the role security has within all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
Demonstrated strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Self-motivated, self-directed, and attention to detail while working with data.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with a diverse team of business and IT staff.
