Knowledge/Skills:
Working knowledge of various Windows operating systems such as XP/Win7/Win10, Server 2008/2012 and associated products to include but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with networks, network devices, desktop hardware, various operating systems and application software in a LAN / standalone environment. Knowledge of administrative and office management principles and practices. Ability to work effectively in a both a team and independent environment. Advanced knowledge of computer software including operating systems and database programs. Knowledge with installing different types of fiber cabling is not required but helpful. This position must be able to perform with minimal direct supervision and may be required to use their home as a base of operation. Significant travel (usually day trips) may be required.
Selected interview candidates will have a minimum of two years or more work experience in the computer support field. A combination of desktop, server & network support is required.

Question 1: Due to the required travel, a good driving record is also required for this position. Does the candidate have a good/clean driving record?
Question 2: Is a travel requirement for this candidate an issue? This would likely be done in a state owned vehicle, but may be frequent in nature. Mostly all just day travel is expected.
Question 3: Does the candidate have certification in MSCE, Comptia Net+, Comptia A+, or a combination thereof? If so, which ones and when do they expire?
