Job Description :
Demonstrates thorough understanding of networking concepts and systems including Routing and Switching, WAN/LAN, Cisco & HP network devices, VOIP, WLANs. Expert/verifiable knowledge in the areas of Meraki routers, Cisco 4331 routers, Aruba wireless controllers/access points, Liebert UPS units, Palo Alto firewalls, Ekahau/Air Magnet wireless design/survey tools, NetMRI, SolarWinds, and Service Now. Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills and ability to make independent decisions. Oversees the purchase, installation, and support of network communications including LAN/WAN systems, T1, SIP, and VOIP systems. Monitors data/voice traffic and controls network/voice resource performance to ensure high quality transmission and call quality. Investigates and resolves security incidents and recommends enhancements to improve security. Applies comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities. Investigates and resolves vendor incidents through maintenance contracts. Possesses expert knowledge of telecom technologies, hardware, software and telephony connectivity. Investigates and resolves vendor incidents through maintenance contracts.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent 4+ years’ work experience in related field and a CCNA is required (Aruba wireless and CCNP certifications are desirable

The EITSS Network Security Team is focused on designing, implementing, operating and maintaining the Cardinal Health network security infrastructure. This team is responsible for the hardware to provide access for Cardinal Health’s external clients and enable the proper protection of Cardinal Health’s network and devices in our infrastructure.
