TITLE: Network Administrator
LOCATION: Houston, TX, United States
Requisition Details:
Administration & Maintenance of LAN and WAN
Installation and configuration knowledge of Cisco Switches, Routers, firewalls, Access points, Wireless LAN Controllers
Configuring routing protocols such as RIP, RIPv2, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF
Experience in designing deploying and operating complex enterprise Networks
Coordinating with Vendor for Existing & New Implementation
Monitoring the Network with monitoring tools like Solarwinds, CA Spectrum and Syslog Server
Handle Service Restoration, Service Request and change requests
Commissioning and de-commissioning of Network components
Follow Change Control submission and approval processes
Inventory Management
Maintaining access policy for clients on firewall, creating VPN tunnels for Site to Site VPN.
Plan, schedule, and implement network device software/hardware upgrades and migrations in a timely manner, and during times that will have the minimum impact on the users
Setup VPN tunnel and troubleshoot VPN related issues
Experience with 3rd party connectivity infrastructure (network and security
Develop and maintain documentation
High degree of analytical ability and creativity in resolving Network problems.
Hands-on experience in creating/ updating network drawings using Visio.
Willingness and availability to work evening and weekend hours for network infrastructure changes
