Essential Skills
VPN coordination and set up are critical and primary activity2. Must be fluent in IPSec Site to Site tunnel configuration and debugging methods (Cisco ASA Platform)3. Should be able to manage multiple streams of covered entity communication and take full ownership of managing the deployment process, often providing some level of consulting if there is a knowledge gap on the covered entity side being on-boarded. An understanding of other VPN platforms including Fortigate, Palo Alto, etc. wouldn’t hurt.4. A solid understanding of L1-L4 networking technologies (with a focus on Cisco/Brocade)
Desirable Skills
1 Will support network infrastructure activities currently in progress, but be primarily dedicated to the 340B CE migration and other VPN related on boarding activities.2. Will provide redundancy for Resource #1 in most areas, and also have specific duties assigned from a project perspective3. Will be a participant in improving network visibility and health monitoring 4. Must have some experience with supporting a capacity planning program through data gathering using any tools required for various hardware components in the network stack5. Will be required to participate in the change management process and having experience with this type of workflow is important6.
