Job Description:
The Finch settlements (Subclass A and B) have a significant effect on OCFS’ current and future business process of handling and executing requests for Fair Hearings. The settlement imposes very strict and tight timeframes for completion of Administrative Reviews and Fair Hearings. In order to be in compliance, OCFS has implemented the FHARM (Fair Hearings Administrative Review Management) system to join data from AIMS, CONNECTIONS and SHIS to be used as a means to meet the compliance of the Finch settlement.
This request is to fill the position for the maintenance of SHIS and the communication between SHIS and FHARM, including any new work required by the Bureau of Special Hearings. The position is vital for the support of the Bureau of Special Hearings staff in helping maintain accurate information in their effort to conduct timely hearings as required by the Finch settlement.
The resource will be used for maintenance and development related to:
Oracle Advanced Queuing to FHARM
Oracle stored procedures as it pertains to interfacing with FHARM
SHIS reporting to aid in the timeliness of hearings
Modifications to the SHIS application to meet requirements as directed by the Bureau of Special Hearings.
1. Development and maintenance of Oracle stored procedures.
2. Analysis, Design and development of Oracle database objects
3. Maintenance and development of Oracle Advanced Queuing functionality
4. Analysis and resolution of production issues relating to the .net application or the Oracle database.
5. Analysis, design and development of enhanced features to SHIS.
6. Cnet development
7. Oracle PL/SQL development
Candidates should have at least 84 months experience and a majority of the following should apply:

1. 84 months experience developing .net web applications #of months 10
2. 72 months experience developing applications utilizing .Net 3.5 or above. #of months 10
3. 72 months experience writing and developing Web Services or WCF. #of months 10
4. 72 months experience developing N-Tier applications. #of months 10
5. 36 months experience developing and utilizing Oracle Advanced Queuing. #of months 10
6. 84 months experience with PL/SQL writing packages, stored procedures and triggers. #of months 10
7. 84 months experience in analysis and design of N-Tier .net web applications. #of months 10
8. 36 months experience with Team Foundation Server. #of months 5
9. Bachelor’s Degree #of months 5
