Business Analyst/Quality Assurance Specialist
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Analysis/Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for determining requirements for system implementations/integrations and testing these systems to ensure quality and alignment to Company goals.
Conducting in-person and virtual meetings with stakeholders across the Company (Operations, Finance, etc to establish requirements for IT system implementations, integrations and improvements.
Preparing cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
Defining the goals of the system and devising flow charts, diagrams, and reports describing logical operational steps of programs.
Reading manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet Company and user requirements.
Specifying the inputs accessed by the system and planning the distribution and use of the results.
Manually testing systems and communicating with development teams to ensure alignment with Company goals.
Proactively identifying and troubleshooting system malfunctions to prevent issues for end-users.
Developing, documenting and revising system design procedures, test procedures, support requirements, and quality standards.
Liaising between IT and stakeholders from other departments to ensure feedback is regularly incorporated into the design and development process.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
7 years in an IT Product Owner or Implementation/Systems Integration Consulting role.
3 years’ experience working in a Microsoft software environment (e.g. .NET Framework
2 years’ experience implementing CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience in working in an Agile software development environment.
Experience with YARDI or equivalent property management software.
Familiar with residential real estate or mortgage industry - understanding of property documentation, etc.
