Job Title:
Technology Agnostic – Agile Coach Project Manager II Job Description: As an Agile coach you will focus your efforts on the following key activities:
TEACHING
Educate teams, leaders and business partners about Agile values, principles, process and tools
Create and maintain training content
Schedule & facilitate workshops including delivery team on boarding
Conduct post training evaluation to drive continuous improvement
Track and report on all knowledge and capability development activities
Participate in ongoing knowledge capability efforts such as online forums, content management activities and communities of practice
MENTORING
Highly engaged and actively supports the professional development of team members and other expert roles such as scrum master, product owner and leaders by walking them through how to put agile principles and practices into place based on your prior experience and extensive knowledge of effective approaches
FACILITATION AND COACHING TO DRIVE HIGH VALUE RESULTS AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Empower teams to discover issues and opportunities to deliver improved customer value
Guide individuals and teams to discover answers and alternative solutions/approaches to continuously deliver software solutions
Coach teams and other roles to create and prioritize their product backlog, user stories, size stories and duration of releases Customer and Continuous Improvement Advocate Champion the voice of the customer and the feedback loop, continuously provide an organizational voice urging and driving continuous improvement and cultural change Customer relationships: Advise and collaborate with business and IT leadership Thought leadership: collect and disseminate organizational and industry good practices and lessons learned. Advocate for Agile approaches to getting work done and delivering business results.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills (Must Have):
Required Qualifications
They are now looking for folks with "10+ Years of Coaching Experience".
Demonstrated experience o Scrum, Kanban, Lean or a related agile discipline/practice
o Working with end users to deliver business value early
o Iterative and incremental delivery
o Coach and facilitate others to adapt agile practices
o Facilitation and training design experience
o Experience with processes and tools that support Agile practices o Worked closely with team concerning § Automated unit, integration, and acceptance testing § Continuous integration, continuous build and automated deployment
Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
5 years of Scrum Master experience or equivalent
Facilitation skills in leading planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
