Job Description :
Need a System Administrator with FTP Server, RedHat Linux, Auditing, Incident Mgmt. Shell Scripting, Exp in Jersey City, NJ /F2F interview required.

Rate: Open/DOE
Duration: 6 months 100% onsite role/NO REMOTE option.
Location: Jersey City, NJ
In person Interview is absolutely required/ Local required.

UNIX flavor is RedHat Linux
Address Permission Issues and Audit Points on the client Public Pulse Portal (Improve Platform)
Auditing Experience
Shell Scripting
Incident Management.

Here the bullet points list that I see for PRM FTP activity :

1/ Provide automation to do OPER L0/L1 investigation :
With client onboarding and new process we have a lot of REQ/INC regarding issues during the clients onboarding.
OPER have very little way to investigate and UNIX team is almost always the entry point for troubleshooting the issues.
I would like to provide OPER a tool that perform basics checks and automatically do a first level of investigation to identify the most probable problem owner (UNIX/FTR/NETWORK)

2/ Manage the FTP RUN for the transition time :
Be the GTS SPOC for PRM FTP platform.
Manage requests/incidents regarding the PRM FTP activity during the transition to the target platform/procedure. (we are talking about ~2days/week)
Manage all Meetings regarding PRM FTP remediation (about 3 meeting a week)

3/ Manage and address all Audit points / remediation :
We have a 3 months workload regarding the result of the Audi, many remediation/report need to be provided.
Write documents in order to enable FTS global support for the PRM FTP.
Prepare and do FTS training for other regions.
Account recertification process + permanent supervision control.
Implement control to prevent bypass of our account creation process + permanent supervision control.
Report all shell access accounts. (weekly) + recertification.
Implement a check that check all protocols other than the allowed FTP / SFTP.
Work with ITEC to provide background scripts in order to delegate actions directly to the clients through the public pulse portal (account reset/setup ssh keys/…)
Help ITEC to move away from FTP (setup process to deactivate FTP access at server level)
Recertification of the centrify accounts
Recertification of the sudoers on the platform.
Put some governance/procedure on the FTP server softwares upgrade (vshelld/vsftp
Study the migration of vshelld to openssh.
