Description:
Border network security engineer with 3-5 years’ experience managing and deploying firewalls, IPS, IDS, MPS, devices globally
Coordinate with AbbVie InfoSec, Compute (Storage and Server infrastructure), BTO''s (Applications), and Ops to migrate planned application into network security zones
Identify traffic flows and create FW rules, follow Network Security Council (NSC) and change management governance processes to ensure implemented by service provider
Experience with vmware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, NSX, DFW, VRNI
Troubleshoot NSX Distributed Firewall & 3rd Party Firewalls
Implement & Manage Palo Alto 8.0 Panorama Management/Log devices
Deploy Palo Alto virtual firewalls on vmware NSX
Support other well-known network security control vendors on ad hoc projects from time to time
Follow all change management and ITIL process while coordinating implementation and deployment activities
Keep all border security design documentation up to date for operational support, compliance, and audit
