Position: IS Controls Analyst
Location: Cincinnati, OH metro area
Duration: 3 Month CONTRACT+
Interview: 1st: phone 2nd: F2F if local/ SKYPE if at a distance.
NOTE: Prefer candidates under 200 miles from Cincinnati, OH
IS Controls Analyst for a Contract position in the Cincinnati, OH area. The IS Controls Analyst works under direct supervision to develop tools for the department to assist the Information Security Governance and/or IT Risk Management and Controls team in the execution of control related tasks and management reporting.
This position works with data to analyze survey results, gaps compared to NIST CSF / ISO 27001/ 27002, trends and red flags. This role will be responsible for compiling a list of gaps related to the controls, as well as follow up with the survey contributors to obtain responses that meet requirements. Additionally, the IS Controls Analyst works directly with the various IT teams and business partners on specific projects to achieve desired objectives. Upon completion of each assignment, IS Controls Analyst will work with team members to provide IT Management with analysis, information, and recommendations in an objective, accurate, and timely fashion.
Requirements:
Experience with NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and ISO 27002
Understanding of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) & GAP Assessments
Experience with SharePoint, Power BI or consolidating data
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written formats to all levels of employees
Must possess the capacity to deal successfully with conflict
Aptitude to balance multiple priorities to meet established deadlines
Experience with Microsoft Office software
MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
