Position: Technical Specialist/Writer
Location: Salem, NH
Type: Contract

Technical Specialist/Designer must be self-motivated, understand how adults learn new technology, and can write and speak about complex technical concepts in a clear, concise way.
Quick learner who can delve into new and complex subject matter
Ability to analyze and interpret technical complex information and synthesize them in a clear manner
Exceptional technical writing skills and excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to establish rapport and a collaborative working environment
Ability to interview SMEs to obtain required information to ensure learning solutions meet business objectives
Able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities
Must have excellent MS Word, PowerPoint and Visio skills
Payment Processing knowledge
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
Instructional Design, Organizational Development, business or similar educational experience (preferred)
Knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines (preferred)
Working with Confluence (preferred) Create easy-to-understand learning content and technical documentation to increase knowledge and performance. This temporary position will focus on activities that support and enhance a culture of employee learning and engagement.

The technical specialist will:
Collaborate with SMEs and team members to document technical knowledge to incorporate into learning solutions
Create learning activities, incorporating practice exercises to support learner retention, consistent with adult learning theory
Explain concepts using clear and concise language for knowledge transfer
Write, edit, and proofread content across a wide variety of technical areas
Assist in mapping and documenting data flows and process flows
