Description:
Ø Skill Required: Hitachi, Pure Storage, NetApp 7 mode and C mode, Brocade, Primary Skill – Hitachi & Pure Storage
Ø Required Skills OS - Hands-on experience on Windows, Unix, Linux
Ø Review effectiveness for industry standing, feature availability, and meeting requirements.
Ø Expert knowledge on Hitachi Storage – VSP, VSP G600, AMS Series, USPV, USPVM, HUS Series
Ø Hands-on experience on HCS, SNM2, HDLM, HGLM,
Ø Good knowledge and understanding of SAN (Brocade/Cisco), Zoning, Fabric Manager, BNA Tool, Command line
Ø Certifications on Hitachi, NetApp and ITIL V3 preferred
Ø Contribute to and maintain system Storage and SAN standards.
Ø Candidate should be able to work closely with Vendors to resolve issues.
Ø Monitor storage performance across the enterprise and prepare reports for management.
Ø Cross-train other Systems Administration team members as secondary SAN administrators.
Ø Experience in heterogenous Storage migration
Ø Experience Pure Storage, Administration of Pure Storage, Creating and mapping lun
Ø Candidate should be able to analyze storage requirement, Capacity management, Performance management
Ø Plan capacity for hardware, performance, storage, and network.
Ø Monitor current storage environment for usage, performance, availability and report on status.
Ø Plan and coordinate firmware upgrades on Storage and SAN components with Vendors.
Ø Good presentation skill and should able to handle Client queries
Ø Develop and maintain documentation on SAN installation and configuration procedures.
Ø Provide statistics of systems usage, systems outages, end user requests, etc. at meetings, planning sessions, and other interactions as needed.
Ø Must have worked on Large SAN Infrastructure environment
Ø Good troubleshooting Skill and being able to mentor other team members
Ø Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
Ø Monitor systems and provide information and statistics and/or take action on system performance and capacity alerts for items such as CPU, RAM, storage, etc.
Ø Should have designed and Managed Highly Available/ DR Infrastructure
Ø Participate in system disaster recovery tests, in accordance with company policy, to ensure data integrity and availability
Ø Hands-on experience on NetApp Oncommand Insight, NetApp Oncommand Operations Manager (DFM), Oncommand System manager, Ontap 7.x, 8.x, 9.0.x, 7-Mode, C-Mode, FAS3000, FAS6000, FAS6000 and V Series, Virtual Filers, CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, FCP, SSH, RLM, FCP, Ontap 9, Snapshot, SnapMirror, SnapVault, SnapRestore
Ø Experience in Ontap Upgrade, Storage upgrade, Migration
Ø Experience with data analysis and architecture design of NetApp Qtrees and Volumes
Ø Knowledge of problem management and Incident management.
Ø Creating RunBook, SOP, implementing industry best practice etc.
Ø Upgrade and configure system monitoring software that supports infrastructure applications.
Ø Run data management for replication, deduplication, snapshots, and migrations.
Ø Monitor and maintain firmware levels on server, storage, and SAN components across the enterprise.
Ø Participate in a rotating on call schedule which supports the critical services IT provides to our internal and external customers.
Ø Coordinate activities of vendors responsible for maintenance of Customer systems
