Position: Sr. Performance Test Engineer (ETL)
Location: Greenbelt, MD
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Green Card, US Citizen
Face to face after phone
Experience
Must have strong SQL skills and know how to test correctness of ETL output
Technologies and Tools:
HP Load Runner, HP UFT, JMeter, Perfect Mobile, App Dynamics; Proficient with Java and/or C# and a scripting language
Experience
Seeking ten (10) years of experience performing software development activities, with a Bachelor’s Degree, or eight (8) years of experience with a Master’s Degree
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience using performance test tools to develop scripts, monitor application/database/machine level performance, analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot errors/failures/bottlenecks, and prepare performance test dashboards and reports
At least 5 years of experience in Java/C development or other software development experience
Deep knowledge of how web applications work over HTTP protocol.
Minimum 5 years of experience using automated test tools for Functional and/or Performance, Stability, Scalability, and Reliability testing using Load Runner, WebTest, JMeter, Watir, Fit, FitNesse, Ruby or others
Minimum 5 years of object oriented programming experience, with C#, Java, Ruby, or C++
Minimum 5 years SQL experience and an ability to write intermediate to complex SQL code
Experience on any performance testing tool (HP Performance Center, JMeter, VSTS, etc
Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools New Relic APM, App Dynamics, Compuware APM (Dynatrace)
Experience with diagnostics tools to identify root cause like HP diagnostics
Hands-on experience performance testing mobile (iOS/Android) applications
Experience in both Windows and UNIX environments
Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
Excellent communication and customer facing skills
