Sr,. BOBJ Lead
7 8 years of experience
Responsible for designing and developing business intelligence solutions within the SAP BOBJ environment.
The BOBJ Developer must have strong analytical, data processing, and problem solving skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively and mentor offshore team.
The BOBJ Developer is an expert in the SAP BOBJ tools and processes. Experience with SAP BO Design Studio is required.
Position Responsibilities/Major Duties
? Design, develop and test SAP BOBJ components required to support the reporting and analytics environments using established development standards.
? Troubleshoot and research defects and reported issues. Assist other developers in resolving issues.
? Perform and participate in code reviews.
? Create and maintain unit testing scripts. Perform unit and system testing.
? Create and maintain technical design and system documentation.
? Design and develop using established development standards architecture and team reviews of technical design and documentation
? On and off hour system support.
? Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including, but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
SkillsThe BOBJ Developer must be able to demonstrate the following:
? Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively.
? Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
? Strong analytical, data processing and problem solving skills.
? Excellent writing proficiency, visual design, presentation skills and the Microsoft Office suite.
KnowledgeThe BOBJ Developer must have in depth knowledge and experience in most of the following:
? Project management methodologies.
? SAP BO Design Studio is a must.
? BOBJ 4.1 and above.
? SQL
? BOBJ components such as Crystal Reports, Analysis for Office, Business Explorer, and Analysis for OLAP.
? SAP BOBJ system architecture design and performance optimization.
? SAP Business Objects Reporting and Data Visualization using Web Intelligence and Dashboards.
? Dimensional data modeling, Star Schema modeling, fact and dimensional table design, physical and logical data modeling.
? Business Objects folders and functionality security.
? Migrating reports from BOXI 3.1 to BOBJ 4.0.
? Tuning and enhancing universes with SQL Queries for report performance.
? Time/Cost estimating techniques.
