Job Description :
Role: Project Manager
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Long Term (Contract to Hire) Project
7+ years of experience in project management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Project
5+ years of interacting with senior and executive leadership
5+ years of progressive financial budgeting and forecasting experience
Experience working in a client facing role
Experience with Waterfall or Agile methodologies
Extensive technical background
PMP Certification
MS Project and MS Project Server experience

Desired Skills:
Experience working as a consultant
Experience in financial services industry
Scrum & PMP certifications

Responsibilities:
Manage IT cross-functional teams, project timelines, and cross-project dependencies to ensure acceptable delivery by the Client and all stakeholders
Monitor and manage project financials, scope, and schedules to ensure project stays aligned with all Client specifications
Generate, validate and distribute timely status reports, time usage reports, and expense reports
Manage day-to-day client interaction, set and manage client expectations, develop lasting relationships with client, their personnel and other program stakeholders
Work independently and collectively across multiple teams to achieve common goals and provide deliverables
