Other: 30% travel all over US and Canada required

Auto Cad experience a MUST
Industrial engineer background (do not want to see other types of engineers)
Warehouse design experience

BASIC FUNCTION: A brief statement of overall end results and the means by which achieved.
Provides general oversight for all facilities at PGW Auto Glass from the time that a new building is secured, to any moves that are done, to the time that a building is closed. Principal accountability is designing rack layouts, coordinating all moves, and participating in lease renewal discussions to ensure that all facilities meet PGW’s strategic and budgetary goals.

Interfaces with business leadership to help make business case for relocations, warehouse re-profiling, consolidations and branch closings.
Performs site visits to find new buildings. Designs CAD rack layouts of facilities, incorporating the latest lean business principles.
Develops processes to ensure that LKQ integrations are completed with a minimum of churn, and in a manner which maximizes profitability for the company.
Leads cross-functional project teams on start-ups, moves, and closures, conducting conference calls and other planning meetings as needed to ensure that projects come in on time and on budget.
Publishes detailed project planning documentation to keep project teams on task. Provides executive summary materials for senior management.
Coordinates with the Warehouse Project Engineer to ensure that projects are fully executed on schedule and on agreed upon plans.
Leads business process excellence / lean initiatives to drive overall efficiencies in the distribution network. Ensure profitability of the branch network by developing strategies to turn around under-performing branches and apply best practices throughout the organization.

Basic Qualifications
5 years of relevant experience in operations management and business administration.
Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel.
AutoCad software knowledge
Demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage a variety of job responsibilities.
Exhibits business judgment and ability to drive change throughout an organization.
Works effectively in cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.
Thinks strategically, and also stays on top of tactical execution with a focus on results.
