Job Description :
This position is responsible for developing, managing and supporting various corporate wide data network and security operations & services. Specific activities will include the deployment/management of corporate network and security devices & services and associated project implementations regarding such. This is a management-level position responsible for analyzing and directing activities of the engineering team with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned employees and contractors. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of delivery of project work throughout the organization including planning, leadership, and project coordination.

Summary of the Essential Functions of the Job
Lead Engineer responsible for supporting business including: hands on greenfield deployments, making recommendations to optimize infrastructure platforms, network, data center access and security policy development.
Develops network architectures/designs to align with enterprise IT strategies across various domains including: networking, network security and data center products and solutions.
Hand''s on network engineering, configuration, troubleshooting and deployment of LAN/WAN and security devices including: Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS, Cisco ISR, Cisco ASA, Fire Power, Nexus devices.
Implements data center solutions with Cisco Nexus/Cisco UCS/Cisco HyperFlex platforms to enhance business productivity for mission critical data center environments.
Escalation point for managed services team driving resolution of complex network technology/connectivity issues.
Communicates status of technology project plans and progress to managerial and executive teams.
Guides and coaches Network Engineers on configuration and implementation of networking protocols: OSPF, BGP, STP, VPC, HSRP, VRRP, and Cisco WLAN controllers.
Provides hands-on implementation, configuration and troubleshooting duties with routing protocols including: OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, MPLS, DMVPN.
Help to streamline operations and improve documentation: IP addressing schemes, VLAN design, physical cabling, data center rack connectivity documents, network diagrams.
Recommends security enhancements and communicates reasoning to appropriate leadership, develops and executes plans effectively.
Experience of managing and supporting technical teams.
Responsible for the support of corporate network LAN/WAN Data Services and associated devices. Experience of managing complex Cisco environments.
Experience of managing high availability and redundancy using F5 load balancers, redundant firewall clusters and core routers.
Experience of implementing and troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN environments.
Responsible for various implementations and network driven projects.
Experience of working with WAN environments with MPLS and end-to-end QoS.
Experience of working with SD-WAN solutions
Responsible for the support of corporate network VoIP based Voice Services and components.
Responsible for the delivery of and management of corporate network Wireless Services and devices.
Responsible for troubleshooting of network hardware and associated services.
Responsible for administering and implementing various monitoring systems and maintaining alert systems around customer premise equipment (CPE) network components.
Responsible for upgrades, hotfix installation, patch management of CPE network components.
Experience with process control, technical documentation & compliance procedures.
Responsible for adhering to CFR 21 Part 11 and HIPPA protocols and procedural mechanisms including change control, documentation and governance.
Evaluates current state network design and provided recommendations for improvements in the areas of fault tolerance, high availability and network security implementation.
Maintains/upgrades network/security documentation.
Maintains strong vendor relationships and oversight to ensure the success of outsourced services and implementations.
Communicates corporate requirements and stay abreast of new technology and product enhancements.
Defines standards and procedures for networking equipment upgrades/refreshes/replacements to align with enterprise IT strategies.
Coordinates and leads cut-overs for data center/WAN deployments/integrations.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience
At least 5 years Network Engineering and administration experience.
At least 3 years of managerial experience.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Cisco accreditations are desired.
Experience with various network hardware including switching, routing equipment & routing protocols.
Experience with network monitoring and security services and protocols
Experience with LAN/WAN network protocols (TCP-IP v4 and v6, MPLS, BGP, SNMP etc and architectures (Ethernet, WiFi, SONET, 3/4G services
Experience with Video conferencing services delivery and protocols.
Experience of Cisco CUCM would be beneficial but not essential.
Experience integrating Voice, Data & video services over corporate LAN & WAN facilities.
Experience of working with Cisco Nexus switches.
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Pulse Secure SSL VPN Gateways.
Experience of working with Cisco Fire Power firewalls would be beneficial.
