Need Cisco Network Solutions Architect / SME
Duration –6+ Months
Work Location – Los Angeles, CA
Responsibilities / Job Role:
1. Design Network Solutions for Office Locations and Datacenters
2. Provide recommendations and best practices for Network Security, WAN Technologies, Remote Connections & Performance.
3. Lead the design, review, and validation of solutions for network projects while analyzing network data to support the current infrastructure
4. Analyze and improve network design and standards by identifying gaps and improvements
5. Manage technology lifecycles while producing architecture and roadmaps for data network
6. Serve as a network SME to cross-functional teams and projects
7. Lead multiple projects to ensure engineering standards and associated timelines
8. Designing technology solutions for clients that will address their needs in Networking, Enterprise Data Center, SDN & SD-WAN focused solutions.
9. Prepare and lead presentations (white board, video, etc that demonstrate designs, ROI & TCO projective
10. Creating corresponding bill of materials, presentations, deliverables and other documents.
11. Perform Hands on tasks as required, including configuring Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Wan Equipment’s etc.
Job Skills
1. 8-10+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect level role within the relevant space
2. Expertise in Cisco networking hardware
3. Strong hand on technical Knowledge of routing & switching as well as ASA, VPN, Nexus, Catalyst, etc.
4. Industry certifications like, CCNP, CCIE, CCDP preferred
5. Routing, switching, firewall technologies, system design, implementation and troubleshooting of complex network systems including packet capture analysis
6. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting of protocols EIGRP and BGP
7. Extensive knowledge with VLANs, Trunking, Spanning Tree, Port Security, ACLs, QoS, EIGRP, NAT, PAT, Inspections, VPNs
8. Experience working with Nexus, Catalyst series switches, ISR
9. Hands on Cisco Wireless and Cisco ISE a plus
10. Experience in network orchestration/automation is preferred
11. Experience working and designing solutions and integrations with Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure)
12. Technical documentation skills required
13. Excellent presentation and leadership facing skills is required
