Need Mainframe DB2 and IMS DBA
Location : Wilmington, DE
Full Time

Requirement 1: Mainframe DB2 and IMS (ideal candidate has both skills)
Requirement 2: Mainframe DB2 only (strong DB2 with little or no IMS is next preference)
Requirement 3: Mainframe IMS only (strong IMS with little or no DB2 is a close 3rd)

ø Engineering or equivalent degree; Relevant working experience of 7 + years in In Mainframe Z/OS system.
ø Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IMS &DB2 databases.
ø In-depth Credit Card Domain knowledge.
ø Strong experience in building the new Application functionality using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
ø Immense knowledge on the tools like Changeman, Endevor, File-Aid for DB2 & IMS, CA-View, CA7, Abend-Aid, etc.
ø Should have good REXX skills and automation experience on mainframe platform.
ø Sounding knowledge on Development, Enhancement, Production Support and Testing projects.
ø Decent experience in translating the business requirements into feasible and cost-effective solutions, Design, Build, Testing and Release management.
ø Should be very strong on database trouble shooting and performance tuning skills.
ø Good Analytical and Problem-Solving techniques.
ø Prior exposure on Onsite-Offshore model.
ø Exposure on both SDLC & Agile methodologies would be an added advantage.
ø Manages researching, developing, innovating and delivering effective and consistent solutions to support the existing legacy systems ensuring the application of current and emerging technologies.
ø Effective interpersonal and communication skills
