Need a Sr. AWS Cloud Ops in NYC, NY /F2F interview is required
Location: NYC, NY
Interview: Phone followed F2F interview
Duration: Minimum 12 month
Rate: $50-65/hr C2C
They are looking to put a team together to handle all of the application testing to go to cloud.

Sr. Level - Cloud Ops Job Description:
Responsibility:
Assist in the roll-out and deployment/migration of new or existing application and services to facilitate our rapid iteration and constant growth
Automate deployment and fail-over of our systems
Implement monitoring and metrics to alert the Cloudops team to issues using tools like New Relic and Datadog.
Troubleshoot issues across the whole stack and AWS service implementation – Network, Virtualization, application and database
Implement robust security measures for all infrastructure components using tools and services like Alert Logic, Qualys, Splunk and Trend Micro
Document current and future procedures, configuration and policies
Monitor and plan for capacity upgrades
Provide the 3rd line support required to resolve complex faults, outage and change issue, on a 24/7 basis (where required)
Required Skills
Strong Linux/Unix background (Must have)
Experience running infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (Good to have)
Automation experience with tools such as Chef or Puppet (Must have)
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python or Ruby (Must have)
Prior experience in developing Cloud Formation Scripts
Network engineering concept (e.g Firewalls, Load Balancers, CDN’s)
Good debugging skills for networking, system and application problems across OSI Layer 2 to 7 for various TCP/IP protocols.
